Once upon a time, I was proud to be viewed as strong.
I actually wore it as a badge of honor.
So much so that when pain was present, I would silence my cry and only let a single tear flow, then quickly wipe it away before weakness would show.
Not anymore, though.
I have learned that vulnerability is not a weakness, and I now allow my feelings to flow.
Rejecting the notion that pain is normal to me and that I want and can endure more.
I don’t want to be resilient.
I want to stop being tested whether or not I’m human and can feel all things. But for some strange reason, am I only able to experience what comes from pain?
I choose joy instead.
I don’t want to be tough.
I would rather lie in the grass, feel the warm sun all over my body.
Be present in the moment and laugh.
I want to enjoy the day and not endure it.
I want to sit on my front porch while swinging, drink tea, and breathe in every precious moment.
I want rainbows.
I want sunshine.
I want all the clocks to break so the sky and seasons changing are the only way to tell time.
I want to live without their fear and dream and create my reality instead.
I want to have amazing experiences and laugh my way to bed each night.
While sipping on my hot nighttime honey tea made from Valerian, Lavender, Red rose petals, Cloves, Passion Flower, and Catnip.
And as the day closes, show gratitude to the night. And show the Universe that I look forward to my unforeseen future that I’m foresure is bright.
I welcome ease.
I welcome softness.
I now live for my blessed days and transmute any darkness.
